STAIRS

Solutions that integrate design and structure to create functional, safe, and visually appealing stairs.

"Ascent engineering applied to design and functionality"

Metal stairs are the point where structure meets design. Functional, resistant solutions adapted to both interior and industrial spaces.

Stairs by Geometry (Shape)

  • Straight Staircase (Single Flight): The simplest and most functional. Ideal for direct access or elongated spaces.
  • L-Shaped or U-Shaped Staircase: With intermediate landings. The standard solution for two-story homes, offering a more restful climb.
  • Spiral Staircase (Helical): The queen of space-saving. Central axis structure with fan-shaped treads. Adds a sculptural touch to the environment.
  • Curved or Circular Staircase: Unlike the spiral staircase, it has no blind central axis. A luxury piece, spacious and of great visual impact for lobbies.

Stairs by Structural System (Design)

  • Central Beam (Mono-stringer): A single robust profile (tubular or IPE) that supports the treads from the center. Provides a sense of lightness and “floating” modernity.
  • Double Side Stringer: The treads are fastened between two side beams (can be laser-cut steel plates or U-profiles). The most robust and traditional design.
  • Zig-Zag Staircase (Sawtooth Stringer): The side structure follows the shape of the treads. A very strong architectural trend in modern industrial design.
  • Cantilevered Stairs: The treads emerge directly from the wall (require a hidden internal structure). The ultimate level of minimalism.

Technical and Industrial Use Stairs

  • Fire / Emergency Stairs: Exterior structures with Trámex-type grating (non-slip and draining) and reinforced safety railings.
  • Fixed Ladders (Cat Ladders): Vertical, with protection hoops (safety cage) for access to roofs, tanks, or industrial ceilings.
  • Warehouse Stairs (Mezzanines): Reinforced structures for heavy traffic and connection with storage mezzanines.
